How to Configure Default View on My Tests Page

Article verified for Release 15.1 on December 11, 2025

This article guides administrators in selecting and managing the default views displayed to candidates on the My tests and My surveys pages. These views determine how candidates access their assigned, scheduled, or available tests and surveys.

Getting Familiar with the My Tests and Surveys Views

We offer three distinct viewing options outlined below, each of which will be explained in detail.

List View

This view displays exams and surveys in a list format, along with their status and available user actions. Candidates can use both simple and advanced filters to narrow down the list.

Tile View

This view presents each exam or survey as an individual tile, showing its status, metadata (available seats, required score…), and available actions (e.g., Start, Book, Purchase). Simple and advanced filtering options are also available to help users quickly find what they need.

Calendar View

This view displays available exams on a calendar by date, providing a clear overview for better time management. Users can filter exams by specific dates or periods to plan accordingly.

Note: If the authorization module is activated, candidates will only be able to start tests for which they have been authorized.

Configuring the default view

To customize the default view on the My Tests and My Surveys pages, go through these steps:

  1. Navigate to the System page and select the Settings and customization option.
  2. Go to the System preferences tab.
  3. Scroll down to Preferred default views.
  4. Select the desired view from the My tests and surveys view Configuration dropdown menu and click the Confirm button.

Calendar View Additional Settings

In the Calendar view, all testing sessions are displayed by default. However, you can customize the default display of testing sessions on this page to show either multiple test sessions, single test sessions, or both, depending on your preference.
