How to upload multiple testing sessions using Excel template

YouTestMe provides users with the convenient option to upload multiple testing sessions for one or multiple tests through the utilization of the YouTestMe Excel Template. This guide elucidates the process of uploading multiple testing sessions by employing the Excel template.

Upload testing sessions #

Navigate to the “Tests” section and select the “Manage tests” option from the main menu.

Locate the “Import data” button. Click on it and subsequently choose the “Import testing sessions” option from the dropdown menu.

In the “Load testing sessions” dialog:

  1. Click on the text labeled “Excel template” to initiate the download of the predefined Excel template. For a successful data import, it is imperative to populate the Excel template in accordance with the accompanying instructions. These instructions can also be downloaded from the same dialog. 
  2. Once the template is accurately filled, proceed by selecting the “YOUTESTME” file format from the provided drop-down menu and click on the “Select file” button to import the prepared Excel template.
  3. With the properly populated Excel template selected, click the “Upload” button. This action will initiate the process of loading the testing sessions into the YouTestMe GetCertified platform.

Filling in the Excel template #

In the Excel template you will need to fill in the required data:

  1. Test ID: This unique identifier can be located within the “Test Settings” tab of the template.
  2. Session Name: Enter a distinctive name for the testing session.
  3. Time Zone: Refer to the “Legend” sheet within the template to gain a comprehensive understanding of the correct time zone format. Input the relevant time zone information accordingly.
  4. Availability Time:
    • Available From: Specify the start date and time for the testing session in the format dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm.
    • Available To: Indicate the end date and time for the testing session in the same format dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm.
