How to Locate Your Test in YouTestMe

This article outlines the steps for finding the exams available for taking, finished, or upcoming within the YouTestMe application, ensuring a smooth and successful assessment experience.

Accessing My Tests Page #

To find the exam available for taking, select the Assignments module from the main menu and click My tests.

The Assignments module is available for all the users independently from their role on the system.

My tests page

On the My Tests page, you can select one of the following views:

List view: Select this option if you desire to show the tests in a list.

Tiles View: Select this option if you desire to show the tests in tiles format.

Calendar View: Select this option if you desire to show the test in a calendar.

Please note when the page will be displayed in the defined default view unless the user selects a different one.

Filters #

In this view, you have the ability to use the following filters to find a specific test:

Main view: This filter allows you to display the

Tests for taking: use this filter to show only the tests that are available for taking

Test results: use this filter to show the finished tests were the results were made available and consult your results

Filters: This option allows you to select one of the following options:

All: to show all the accessible tests

Available for taking: to display the tests that you can take

Available for retake: to display the tests that you already took and are available for retaking

Available to continue: to display the unfinished tests that you can continue

You have also the ability to sort the tests by availability period

You can select the availability period on a calendar

Today: select this option to display the test available on the current date

This week: select this option to display the test available on the current week

This month: select this option to display the test available on the current Month

Filter button: Use this button and enable the show suspended attempts. Once you click the apply button the suspended attempts will become visible in the table.

List view - Filters

Tests list

Test ID: This column is reserved for the test unique identifier. You can Search for the exact test using its ID or sort the list of test ascending or descending IDs this will allow you to see the most recent or old tests first.

Test Name: This column is reserved for the test name. You can use the Search option to search for a test using a key word or sort the tests by ascending or descending alphabetics order.

Status: This column is reserved for the test status. You can use the select option to display only the tests with the desired status. The status can be:

Paused

Not finished

Available now

Upcoming

Completed

Expired

Not available

Suspended

Available from: In the column you can see when the test started to be available.

Available to: In this culomn you can see intill when the test is available.

Seat availability: When the number of seats is limited, you can see the number of available seats.

Actions: In this column you have the actions that can be conducted for the test including:

Start: to start taking a test

Continue: to continue a not finished test

Retake: to retake a completed test

Report: to display the personal report for that test

Book: to book a time to take a test

Purchase: to purchase a test available with fees

  • With the search bar, even a partial test name entry will swiftly pinpoint your test.

Note: All three manners can be used at the same time.

Best Practices and Tips #

  • If you still can’t locate the test on the page, there’s a chance you haven’t been assigned to the test. Please check with your test admin, the person who is in charge of this.
  • If you’ve found the test but don’t see the Start/Purchase/Book button, there’s a chance the session has expired. Please verify this with your test admin.
