Generative AI Capabilities
YouTestMe uses large language models (LLMs) across several Generative AI capabilities. These capabilities support content creation, assessment, administration, user assistance, and question analysis.
AI Question Generator
The AI Question Generator creates editable test questions based on user-provided prompts.
Questions can be generated using:
- General knowledge prompts.
- Client-provided source materials.
Generated questions can be reviewed and edited before they are used in an assessment.
AI Training Course Generator
The AI Training Course Generator creates structured training content based on user-provided prompts or approved internal content.
It can generate training steps and descriptions to help users structure learning materials more efficiently.
AI Grader
The AI Grader assists with evaluating Essay and Fill in the Blanks responses using user-defined evaluation guidelines and, optionally, a provided correct answer.
Administrators can define scoring criteria, including requirements for accuracy, completeness, clarity, partially correct answers, and other evaluation conditions. The AI Grader returns a numeric score and AI-generated evaluation feedback.
AI grading results are displayed in the test results and can be provided immediately after submission when the required test configuration is enabled.

AI Orchestrator
The AI Orchestrator allows users to perform actions in YouTestMe using simple, natural-language commands. It can assist with administrative and content-creation tasks such as creating users, tests, surveys, training courses, and testing sessions, as well as assigning candidates to groups or sessions.
Access to the AI Orchestrator is controlled through the Access AI Orchestrator permission. Enabling this permission automatically grants the selected role content-creation permissions, so access should be restricted to appropriate roles.

AI Helper
The AI Helper provides in-application assistance to users.
It can:
- Answer questions about using the application.
- Explain available features and workflows.
- Direct users to relevant resources and documentation.
AI Analyst
Upcoming feature: The AI Analyst assists with reviewing question pools and identifying potential quality issues.
The analysis can cover:
- Question quality.
- Clarity.
- Duplicate or similar questions.
- Ambiguity.
- Consistency.
- Difficulty alignment.
Generative AI Models and Providers
The specific Generative AI model or provider used depends on the configured AI capability.
For AI Grading, YouTestMe supports configurable AI providers, including OpenAI and Local (Llama). When OpenAI is selected, administrators can configure the OpenAI API URL and model.
