How to set up training course fees with e-commerce

This article explains how to set up training course fees – prepare a training course and set prices.

Creating a training course

To arrange a training course, you need to:

  1. Create a training course.
  2. Set prices needed for starting a training course.

Setting up prices

In order to set the prices for exam booking:

  1. Navigate to “System settings”.
  2. Choose the “Integrations” option. 
        

  3. Choose the “E-Commerce” tab.
  4. Enter the pop-up title. This title will be displayed when entering a payment card by the candidate.

  5. Insert the pop-up description. This text will be displayed when entering a payment card by the candidate.

  6. Set the pop-up icon – Full URL of the logo picture for the Stripe checkout.
  7. Enter the Stripe account ID – ID of your Stripe account connected to the YouTestMe Stripe platform.
  8. Enter the Secret key.
  9. Enter the Publishable key.

Setting up predefined prices

If you want to use predefined prices already set in advance:

  1. The “Enable custom setting of training course enrolment price” option must be disabled.
  2. Click the “Add price” button.
  3. When the pop-up window shows up, add the price and confirm it by clicking on the “Confirm” button.
  4.  After setting up as many prices as you want, confirm it on the “Confirm” button at the bottom of the page.

         

Creating custom prices

If you want to set prices for each training course independently:

  1. Enable custom setting of training course enrolment price.
  2. Click the “Add price” button.

Once you are done setting up your training course, you can define a custom price. An example is displayed in the picture below. 

Navigate to your training course and:

  1. Enable the “Self-enrolment” option.
  2. Add the price by clicking on the pen icon.
  3. Confirm the changes with the “Save” button.

Note: If you add a candidate manually to the training course in the “Candidates” tab, he will not have to purchase the training course. Only candidates not assigned in the “Candidates” tab will have to purchase the training course.
