How to Identify Proctored Attempts That Require Additional Review

Article verified for Release 15.1 on September 15, 2025.

In this article, we will explain how to identify proctored attempts that require additional review and a final verdict.

In certain situations, a proctor may be unable to determine whether a candidate’s behavior constitutes a violation. For example, if a candidate is briefly out of the camera’s view, it may be unclear whether they stepped away for a drink or accessed unauthorized material. In such cases, the proctor marks the attempt as reviewed, records their observations in the proctoring report, but does not assign a final verdict. The final decision is then made by a user with higher authority.

How to Rate a Proctored Attempt

For more details on how to check and rate a proctored attempt, see the following article.

How to Access the Test Results for Review Report

The Test Results for Review report lists all proctored attempts that require additional verification. For an attempt to appear in this report, it must meet all of the following criteria:
  • Attempt status: Report incomplete (meaning the candidate has submitted their attempt, but the grade has not been finalized)
  • Proctor comment: A comment from the proctor is present
  • Proctor rating: Neutral

Steps to Access the Report

  1. Go to Reporting > Predefined reports.

  2. From the menu, select Test reports.

  3. Search for Test Results for Review.

Once the report opens, you will see the candidates whose proctored attempts require further review, along with the related tests.

Additional Options

The report can be:

  • Scheduled – For details, refer to this article.

  • Filtered – Apply filters by start and finish date ranges.

  • Exported – Download the report as an Excel file.

Conclusion

The Test Results for Review report ensures that no uncertain proctored attempts are overlooked. By checking for attempts left in neutral status with a proctor’s comment, you can review them carefully and provide a final verdict. Using scheduling, filters, and exports makes it easier to manage and track these cases efficiently.
