How Booking and Cancellation Notifications Appear to Student

This article details how a student will receive email notifications for booking and cancellation confirmations through the application and email.

Booking confirmation #

The student can book available sessions in the Assignments/My Tests tab by clicking the Choose the session button.

After the student clicks the Choose the session button, a dialog displaying a list of available sessions for booking will appear. The student can click the Book option in the Actions column to book a session.

Note: If only one session is available, the student will see the Book button directly without the Choose the session button.

Once the student books the test, he will receive the booking confirmation notification:

  1. Through the application.

  2. Through an email defined on the student’s profile:Booking Email Notification

If the user has subscribers, all email notifications, including this booking confirmation, will also be sent as BCC recipients to the subscribers’ email addresses.

To check if the user has subscribers, navigate to their profile and select the Reporting/Subscribes tab.

Notification for canceled booking

Once booked, the attempt can be canceled. Locate the test on the My tests page for which you wish to cancel the booking. Click the Cancel booking button, and a confirmation dialog will appear. Click Yes to confirm.

Note: If the Cancellation deadline is defined, the student can cancel the booked attempt within that time frame.

Once the student cancels the previously booked attempt, they will receive a cancellation confirmation notification.

  1. Through the application.
  2. Through an email defined on the student’s profile.

Note: Cancellation of previously booked attempts past the booking deadline requires a user with test management permission. Following the cancellation, the student will receive a confirmation notification.

Editing default booking and cancellation confirmation notification #

To modify the notifications, navigate to the System/Settings and customization tab. Then, select the Notifications tab, where you will find a list of all notifications, including Booking and cancellation confirmation notifications.

To edit the notification displayed in the application and email, click Edit in the Application notifications and/or Email notifications columns.
